I'm It.

So, I see all these posts about people "tagging" each other about this and "tagging" each other about that, but you won't find such a post on my blog. Why not? Because apparently nobody wants to know five interesting things about me or five things I want to do this year or what books are near me. This brings back painful memories of when I was a child and had to play freeze tag and stuck in the mud by myself --- and let me just say that it isn't easy to crawl through your own legs while you are chasing yourself! So because no one wants to tag me, I tag myself.

This is what you do:

1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages)
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog
5. Tag 5 people

I'm not sure if semi-colons are technically considered sentences in themselves, so I just included them (Maybe Alli can shed some light on the situation).

"The prosperity of all goes on increasing, industry is quickened and excited, manufactories and workshops are multipled, families, a hundres families, a thousand families, are happy; country becomes populous; villages spring up where there were only famrs, farms spring up where there was nothing; poverty disappears, and with poverty disappear debauchery, prostitution, theft, murder, all vices, and all crimes!"

Any guesses on what book that is from? I'll give you a hint: The syntax is off a bit because it is a french book whose title translates as (variously): The Wretched, The Poor Ones, The Wretched Poor, The Victims, The Miserable Ones.

Oh, and I tag everyone that has never been tagged before (which is probably only five other people).
