Danger's my middle name!

So, Ashley and I are pretty much settled on The Heir's first name (he is the first baby to carry the Phipps name into another generation). But lately we have had some diragreement about what his all-important middle name should be. Ever since I reached the intellectually mature age of about sixteen, I have wanted my first boy's middle name to be Danger. I know what you all are thinking: "That's so cool; why didn't I think of that? I know I have a girl, but it is SO cool that it doesn't matter." Jealousies aside, not only is Danger a strong yet whimsicle name, but it happens to be perfect for The Namesake. A while back, when I first suggested the name to Ashley, she was on board with it. But recently she has changed her mind. I know! What pregnant woman changes her mind? I have tried everything to show her the light, but she has some reservations.

Apparently this is what Ashley sees when she thinks of the name Danger:

And this is what I see of when I think of the name Danger:

The other alternative to Danger is Paul. Paul is a good, solid family name, but it doesn't have the same feeling to it as DANGER! So America, the choice is yours. Text your vote for Baby Phipps's middle name to 1-877-THE HEIR. (or just leave a comment because I don't think there is much of a chance of us getting your text).

Ashley may change her mind, but you are the one that will bless the baby!

I am sorry Ashley, but I believe it should be Danger. It just fits Bryan's baby boy. You should of known this when you married him. But Paul is nice too (only because dad is right by me).

You're too funny Bryan! Danger does sound like a pretty sweet middle name. I can picture your little boy in kindergarten telling everyone his name: "First name DANGER Phipps" with a tough little look on his face. Hmmmm, I think I would go with Paul.

Some odd names can still be interpted in more than one way so if gives options for what you can think of when the name is mentioned. But DANGER, just one thought comes to mind "What were the parents thinking, do they have a death with for their kid". And since I'm the grandmother I would like to see him reach all his birthdays, so how about we'll just think of it has a "nick name" and keep it on the low down. Mom
